Arsenal ready to pursue Odegaard

According to a recent report from the Mirror, Arsenal are ready to make a move for Martin Odegaard should he become available this summer.

Odegaard spent the second half of last season on loan with the Gunners but after returning to Real Madrid, many have been left to wonder where his future lies. He put in a string of impressive displays with the Gunners but after they failed to qualify for Europe, some question whether Odegaard would even want to make such a move.

Mikel Arteta is well aware of the fact that big changes are needed if he’s going to make progress with this team. Of course, that’s going to mean removing a lot of deadwood, but we also think it could mean opening up the door to an Odegaard return.

Odegaard is still young and has a lot of time left to develop, which is why Arsenal want to be the ones to harness that energy.
