Arsenal have turned down an offer of £6m from Roma for forward Gervinho, according to the Metro.
New Roma manager Rudi Garcia is keen to sign the Ivory Coast international, who he worked with for two years at Lille, where together they won the 2011 Ligue 1 title.
The 26 year old has failed to make a real impression since arriving in North London, scoring just nine goals in forty-six league appearances.
The Gunners are keen to part company with Gervinho, though they are holding out for around £12m as they look to bring in Brazil international Bernard.
Atletico Mineiro are willing to sell the 23 year old, but they are demanding a fee of £25m.
The midfielder is one of the hottest properties in world football after he helped his side clinch the Copa Libertadores on penalties yesterday.
He was also part of the Selecao’s victorious Conferderations Cup squad last month.
