Arsenal are keen to tie down Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes to new contracts, and according to The Times, the talks on the subject are set to take place soon. There have been no negotiations with Saka or Saliba as of yet, but there have been a few words on the subject with Gabriel.
All three players have been of vital importance as Arsenal rose to challenge for the Premier League title again under Mikel Arteta, and all three currently have contracts expiring in the summer of 2027. The club have a policy of not allowing such key names in the squad to enter the final two years of contract, feeling it would weaken their negotiating position and increase uncertainty around the players’ respective futures.
Apart from this trio of stars, the Gunners also want to secure the futures of academy graduates Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly and are expected to take steps on that front soon.
