Arsenal set to offer bumper contract deal to Sanchez

The Mail Online understands that Arsenal are readying a contract offer that would make Alexis Sanchez the highest paid player in the Premier League.

The Chile international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer with Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain interested though the Gunners are not willing to let him leave without a fight.

The North London club are now drawing up a deal that would see him earn more than any other player in England’s top flight.

Sanchez moved to the Emirates Stadium from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and has so far racked up one hundred and forty-four appearances in all competitions, scoring seventy-two goals while he has been part of the squads that won the FA Cup in both 2015 and 2017.

He will miss Arsenal’s opening day fixture against Leicester City with an abdominal injury, with Arsene Wenger’s side priced at 8/15 to win the game.
