Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi has revealed on his official Twitter account that he has signed a deal with Arsenal.
The 19-year-old has been on trial at the Emirates during the last few weeks and he has been offered a contract by the Premier League side after impressing in two outings for the Under-21 team.
The centre-back came through the youth ranks at Charlton Athletic, but was released at the end of last season after returning from a loan spell at Dartford.
He has since represented Nigeria Under-21 at World Youth Festival in Toulon, making three appearances for the Super Eagles.
Ajayi has done some pre-season training with Norwich, but was then invited for a trial by Arsenal, and has now officially signed for the Gunners.
The talented centre-back helped Arsenal Under-21 side keep a clean sheet in both of his appearances, while he also scored a goal in the victory over Blackburn.
