Arsenal stance on potential Thomas Partey exit

Arsenal will want over £30 million in transfer fees for Thomas Partey, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that although Arsenal are not actively looking to sell the Ghana international defensive midfielder, they will listen to offers for him for over £30 million.

The Gunners are on the verge of signing Declan Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly sees Partey as the perfect back-up to Rice.

Partey was a regular for Arsenal last season and played a key role in the Gunners finishing second behind eventual champions Manchester City in the Premier League table. The 30-year-old made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners last season, scoring three goals in the process.
