Arsenal still interested in Aouar

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Arsenal are still interested in trying to sign Houssem Aouar from Lyon.

The midfielder has been one of the Gunners’ primary targets for what feels like forever now, but after not being able to get a deal over the finish line during the summer, many wondered whether or not it would ever be possible again.

They aren’t going to go unchallenged in this pursuit, however, with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus both letting it be known that they want to get involved in the race for his signature.

Aouar, in the eyes of many, would add something really substantial to Arsenal’s squad in the middle of the park – but others feel as if it’d be better for his career if he goes elsewhere.

Either way, you can bet that Mikel Arteta isn’t going to give up on this one in a hurry, and neither should be.
