Arsenal still interested in Tagliafico

According to reports in Italy, Arsenal are still interested in signing Nicolas Tagliafico from Ajax as he continues to impress Unai Emery. The Gunners are starting to slowly improve their defensive situation with each and every passing game, although they could certainly still use some reinforcements if they want to push on and make a title surge in the next few years.

Newcastle United were said to be interested a few months ago, but now, he’s being viewed as a prime target for the Gunners and could serve as competition to Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal.

Tagliafico first joined Ajax earlier this year from Independiente, but the Dutch giants will have to deal with speculation over his future for at least a few more months to come. If the call arrives, you’d have to imagine that he’d seriously consider such a big switch to a club with great potential like Arsenal.
