Arsenal still keen on Sterling

Arsenal are ready to go back in for Raheem Sterling when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Mirror.

The North London club were interested in securing the England international’s services in the summer though Manchester City were not willing to do business.

However, with the Premier League leaders expecting to reignite their interest in signing Alexis Sanchez a part exchange deal could still be on the cards.

Sterling has started the campaign in fine goal-scoring fashion netting in three of the four league games in which he has played some part.

In total he has made one hundred appearances in all competitions for the Citizens since signing from Liverpool in the summer of 2015, scoring twenty-four goals – one more than he managed in one hundred and twenty-nine games for the Reds.

Internationally, the twenty-two year old has been capped thirty-four times for his country, scoring two goals.
