Arsenal still want Jorginho

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Arsenal are still interested in trying to sign Chelsea star Jorginho.

With Houssem Aouar being named in Lyon’s squad and bigger clubs going after him, that transfer is looking more and more unlikely by the day. Lyon still don’t want to sell him regardless of what Arsenal offer and with so little time to go before the window shuts, the club knows that they need to move on.

Jorginho has made a solid start to the new Premier League season with the Blues and he was influential for them against Crystal Palace yesterday, scoring two penalties as they ran out 4-0 winners.

It wouldn’t seem like the most logical move in the world for Chelsea to sell him to such a direct rival but given the fact they were more than happy to let Willian make the switch up to North London, it could still be on the cards.
