Arsenal still want Pavon

According to reports in England, Arsenal are still interested in signing Cristian Pavon. The Boca Juniors striker has been the subject of much attention from clubs around Europe, with the Gunners’ interest being reported throughout the summer. Alas, they weren’t quite able to get a hold of their man, but it seems as if they still want to pursue the move. Apparently, the two clubs have already held talks over the possible signing of Pavon, although they likely won’t get a chance to finalise anything until the January transfer window.

The Gunners already have some great attacking options, but this is certainly a great sign of intent from Unai Emery regarding what he wants to achieve during his time with the club. Aubameyang and Lacazette could use some back up and while Welbeck is a solid Premier League player, someone like the 22 year old Pavon could be exactly what they need.
