Arsenal still want Tierney

According to a recent report from Sky sources, Arsenal are still pushing hard with the intention of completing a deal for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney. Neil Lennon is expecting another bid from the North London side within a matter of hours if not days, with talks continuing over the initial payments that Arsenal are offering as part of the deal.

It’s no secret that the Gunners have been struggling defensively over the course of the last few years, with that being the main issue that fans have with their squad right now. If they aren’t able to add a few notable names before the summer transfer window comes to an end, then they could cause a bit of a divide amongst the general fanbase.

Either way, though, it seems like Arsenal’s pursuit of Tierney is going to come down to the wire, with both clubs currently being at a bit of a stalemate.
