According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Premier League side Arsenal are struggling to get their proposed deal for Kieran Tierney over the finish line. Scottish Premier League giants Celtic believe that the Gunners’ second offer, which is said to be around £18 million plus £7 million in add-ons, is unrealistic because the additional payments are connected to the possibility of the club qualifying for the Champions League. Celtic are of the belief that Arsenal should, and will, be moving on to other targets if they can’t get Tierney to sign on the dotted line.
It certainly seems as if Kieran is more than willing to entertain the idea of heading to North London, but at the same time, Celtic want to get what they believe they deserve out of the deal.
All things considered, that doesn’t seem like all too much to ask. Then again, maybe it is.
