Arsenal beat Manchester United by 2-0 on Wednesday, courtesy of strikes from Nicolas Pepe and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, which both came in the first half.
The Gunners completely dominated the first 45 minutes of the contest, while the second half appeared more balanced as United seemed to have grown into the game more. Speaking after the game, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta explained why, and pointed out an important detail of his team’s performance that made him very happy.
