(GSM) – Arsenal have eyed Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic as a possible recruitment. Manager Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign another goalie as he’s not satisfied with Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski.
Skysports.com reports Wenger has set his sights on the 25-year-old Slovenian after Fulham turned down a bid for Australian shot stopper Mark Schwarzer.
Handanovic impressed Wenger at the World Cup with some impressive performances, especially in the narrow defeat to England.
Udinese don’t want to lose Handanovic, but they would find it hard to turn down a sizeable offer for the player.
