French newspaper Ouest-France has revealed that Arsenal are stepping up their efforts to sign Angers midfielder Alharbi El Jadeyaoui.
The attacking midfielder has impressed in French Ligue 2 last term and he seems to have done enough to catch the eye of Arsenal scouts.
According to Ouest-France, the 26-year-old has flown to London, where he will spend several days training with the Gunners and attempt to earn a contract at the Emirates.
El Jadeyaoui has already spent some time in England, having had a one-week trial at Blackburn Rovers back in 2009.
The Morrocan has spent his entire career in France, representing Beauvais, Tours, Chateauroux, Brest, Guingamp and Angers.
After spending three years at Guingamp, El Jadeyaoui made a switch to Angers last summer and has since scored 4 goals in 35 league matches for the club. The interesting thing is the midfielder has never featured in a top flight game in France.
