Paris Saint Germain centre-back Mamadou Sakho reveals he is disappointing with the club officials for postponing negotiations regarding the new deal.
Despite heavy interest from clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal, the 20-year-old agreed to sign a new deal at Parc des Princes, only to see an agreement postponed by the club chiefs.
“I am offended by the attitude of the leaders. We found a common ground financially. And then, on the eve of the signing, I was told that everything was postponed,” Sakho said.
“It is a decision that really touched my pride. I took it as a lack of consideration. From the moment we reach an agreement, there is no going back.”
Sakho, whose contract is due to expire in June 2012, says he is still prepared to stay at the club.
“I would obviously still continue. What interests me is my second dream. The first was to turn professional at PSG.
”The second is to hear the beautiful music of the Champions League at Parc des Princes.
“Calls from the big clubs? They are flattering…”
