Arsenal target Kudus as Trossard replacement

Arsenal are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, according to the Mirror. Apparently, the Gunners want the Ghana international as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is a subject of interest from Al-Ittihad.

Kudus has been on Arsenal’s list for a while now, even before his move from Ajax to West Ham in 2023. The Gunners did not react in time back then and the Hammers signed for a reported fee of £40 million on a five-year contract, and since then, the 24-year-old has scored 16 goals and produced seven assists in 55 games across all competitions for the club from east London.

Meanwhile, Kudus is currently suspended for getting himself sent off in West Ham’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur, having engaged in a wild confrontation with Spurs defender Micky van de Ven, striker Richarlison and midfielder Pape Matar Sarr. He has been charged with violent conduct and could face a ban longer than the initial one of three matches.
