Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue has revealed that he is hoping to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
The highly rated footballer is widely tipped to leave le Tefece for greener pastures in the summer, with Arsenal reportedly readying a £10 million bid for his services.
Capoue, 24, has, however, revealed that he has been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, and he seems ready to snub Arsenal in favour of a switch to Parc des Princes.
“There were contacts this winter, and there are today. I hope there will be more,” Capoue confirmed links with PSG to beIN Sport.
“I am still a big fan of PSG, so it is a dream for me.”
The talented midfielder has come through the youth ranks at Toulouse and went on to make 165 Ligue 1 appearances for le Tefece.
During that time he has developed into one of the best holding midfielders in French Ligue 1 and earned 5 France caps, scoring a goal in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
The player is now set to leave Stade Municipal, but it appears he will be staying in France rather than making a trip across the channel.
