Arsenal target to hand in transfer request

Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz admits that he will ask to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has been earning rave reviews for his showings in Ligue 1 and he has already attracted attention of big European clubs.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Algerian, but few other European giants are also keen.

The player has now revealed that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season, but not necessarily to join a foreign club.

“At the end of the season, I will ask to leave,” Boudebouz was quoted as saying in L’Equipe.

“I want to stay in France, we’ll see in June.”
