Arsenal target wants summer exit
Stuttgart midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic has reaffirmed his desire to leave the club at the end of the season.
The Serbia international has been unable to earn a starting berth at Mercedes-Benz Arena in spite of some impressive showings in both Bundesliga and Europa League.
As a result, the 25-year-old revealed few weeks ago that he planned to leave the club in search of first team football.
Despite starting last three games for the Swabians, Kuzmanovic is adamant he is still looking to leave next summer.
“My situation has not changed, I want to leave in the summer,” Kuzmanovic was quoted as saying in Bild.
The Serbian midfielder, who has been linked with Arsenal, produced two assists in Stuttgart’s 5-1 win over Steaua in Europa League.
Since joining the club from Fiorentina, Kuzmanovic has scored 17 goals in 90 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart.
Juve to tie down star duo
Italian newspaper Tuttosport has revealed that Juventus are preparing new contract offers for Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio.
The two players have excelled alongside Andrea Pirlo in the centre of the park for the Bianconeri, and media reports suggest top European clubs are following the star duo.
In order to ward off the reported interest, Juventus chiefs are keen to tie down the two midfielders to new long-term contracts.
Both players are currently tied to the club until June 2016, with the Old Lady planning to extend their deals by two more years.
Marchisio, who earns around €3m per season, and Vidal, on €2.7m, are also expected to receive a substantial pay rise.
Claudio Marchisio came through the youth ranks at Juventus and scored 20 goals in 155 Serie A games for the club.
Arturo Vidal arrived in Turin from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011, and went on to score 12 goals in 44 league appearances for the Bianconeri.
Croatian starlet on Porto radar
Dinamo Zagreb full-back Sime Vrsaljko is closely followed by FC Porto, according to A Bola.
The 20-year-old defender has long ago attracted attention of top European clubs and he is heavily tipped to leave Croatia for greener pastures in the January transfer window.
Portuguese giants Porto were believed to be showing interest in the talented youngster and the rumours appear to have received confirmation in the Champions League match between Porto and Dinamo Zagreb.
After the match ended, the Dragons boss Vitor Pereira approached Vrsaljko and exchanged few words with him, thus adding fuel to speculations linking the Croat with a move to Dragao.
This probably means that Porto have already opened talks with Dinamo regarding the purchase of the highly rated right-back.
Despite his fragile age, Vrsaljko has amassed a total of 76 league appearances, while also featuring in 22 European matches.
