Arsenal target wants to stay until the summer

Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin says he wants to finish the season with les Lionceaux before leaving the club.

The highly rated midfielder was widely tipped to leave the club this summer, but Sochaux somehow managed to hold on to their most prized asset.

The 23-year-old has long list of admirers and was expected to leave in January, but he has now revealed that he doesn’t want to move clubs in the middle of the season.

“I started and will finish this season at Sochaux,” Martin told RMC.

“I do not want to leave like that in the middle of the season.”

The player has already expressed his desire to leave for a bigger club, but it looks as though the interested clubs will have to wait until next summer.

Arsenal are reportedly keen on the France international, but Lyon, Lille, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund are also interested.
