A lot of the recent transfer rumours have been concerned with Premier League giants Arsenal and their imminent need to replace the departing Alexis Sanchez. The Gunners have been linked with a whole host of players across Europe, but the latest name on their list is that of PSG youngster Goncalo Guedes, according to the Mail.
Arsene Wenger’s men have been in inconsistent form throughout this Premier League season, and currently find themselves 14 points behind leaders Manchester City, with the Citizens yet to play at the time of writing. The likely departure of star winger Alexis Sanchez could leave the North London side in slight disarray, so a replacement is needed as soon as possible.
Guedes could be the man to fill the Chilean’s boots, and the 21-year old certainly possesses a lot of talent. The Portuguese international struggled to force his way into what is a star-studded PSG side, and is thus spending this season out on loan at Valencia.
He has impressed so far, with three goals and five assists in 11 La Liga appearances, and his exploits could see him playing in the Premier League next season.
