Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that Premier League giants Arsenal are readying summer bid for Torino full-back Bruno Peres.
The Gunners already have an excellent right-back in Hector Bellerin, but Arsene Wenger clearly wants to recruit another footballer who would challenge the Spaniard for a starting berth.
Reports from Italy suggest that Bruno Peres has emerged as their top target, with Arsenal informing Torino that they were ready to offer around €16 million for the Brazilian defender.
Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are also expected to reignite their interest in Bruno Peres, while Roma, Man City and PSG appear to have puled out of the chase.
The Brazilian is reportedly hoping to leave Granata for greener pastures this summer, and Arsenal’s offer is close to Torino’s €20 million asking price.
The Gunners kick off their league campaign against Liverpool in some ten days and they are 23/20 to claim maximum points.
