Arsenal to bid for Llorente; Jordan Ayew nears Marseille exit

hot-transfer-newsArsenal to bid for Llorente

Daily Mail has revealed that Arsenal are hoping to sign Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Juventus in the winter.

Chances are the Gunners will be in the market for a new striker in January and latest reports suggest they are planning an assault on Fernando Llorente.

The Gunners are interested in taking the player on loan and are reportedly set to make their interest concrete in the coming weeks.

Llorente only arrived in Turin this summer on a free transfer from Athletic Bilbao, but he has largely struggled for playing time.

Having made just two starts so far, the 28-year-old continues to be linked with a January exit, and Arsenal seem ready to pounce.

The Gunners currently lead the chase in English Premier League and are 9/2 to stay there come end of the season.

Jordan Ayew nears Marseille exit

Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew could be leaving Marseille in January, according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport.

OM are determined to sign a new striker as soon as the transfer window reopens, meaning they are likely to offload some of their own players.

Le 10 Sport has suggested that Jordan Ayew could be the first one through the door as he has largely struggled to prove his worth this season.

The 22-year-old has failed to score a single goal in 8 league appearances, and it appears the club officials are slowly losing patience with him.

With Nice and several Premier League sides showing interest, Ayew should have no problems finding a new club.

Jordan Ayew has come through the youth ranks at Stade Velodrome and has so far featured in 103 Ligue 1 matches and scored 13 goals.

Kurt Zouma on Inter radar

Italian TV station Mediaset has learned that Inter are weighing up a move for Saint Etienne starlet Kurt Zouma.

The Nerazzurri have been alerted of the player’s potential and they are believed to be readying a January bid for his services.

According to Mediaset, Inter officials hope a €5 million bid would prove enough for les Verts to cash in on their prized asset.

However, with Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City also thought to be keen, chances are the 18-year-old will not be allowed to leave on the cheap.

Despite his fragile age, Zouma has already established himself as a first team regular at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, catching the eye of top European clubs in the process.

The talented centre-back has amassed 47 Ligue 1 appearances up to date and scored a total of 4 goals in the process.
