The Telegraph is reporting that Arsenal are weighing up summer bid for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The Gunners are widely tipped to make few more signings before the transfer window closes on 1st September and it looks as though the Poland international is one of their primary targets.
Arsenal had their scouts present in Tbilisi as Sevilla battled Barcelona for the UEFA Super Cup trophy, although the 25-year-old deputized at centre-back due to a serious defensive crisis.
The Gunners are reportedly ready to match the player’s €30 million release clause, as Arsene Wenger is eager to recruit another holding midfielder.
Grzegorz Krychowiak has largely impressed since joining Sevilla from Reims last summer and he could be leaving los Rojiblancos for greener pastures just a year later.
His suitors Arsenal hope to recover from the opening defeat to West Ham and defeat Crystal Palace away, and they are 4/6 to succeed in their quest.
