Arsenal to let their centre-back make a return to Germany

Arsenal are a team that is perplexing many. The Gunners are far from their glory days, already 16 years into their spell without a league title. They are now looking to make a rebuild under Mikel Arteta, as they need to restructure their team and cut overspending on certain players and transfer fees. But they are also a team that has a lot of players of insufficient quality and it could be that Konstantinos Mavropanos is one of them.

Arsenal are ready to loan him out again. According to reports from Football.London, Werder Bremen are leading the race to sign Arsenal defender. The Gunners are apparently ready to send the 22-year-old Greek out for another season to continue his development.

There are reports suggesting five clubs are interested in getting Mavropanos for the 2020-21 season and the German media outlet Kicker have different foundings – they claim Stuttgart will be the club where the Greek will make a move. It looks like Germany is his destination again, after being loaned out to Nurnberg.
