AS have reported that Arsenal and Madrid hope to get a deal done soon for €50 million (£42.57m). Odegaard himself has decided to leave the former Spanish and European giants and wants to go back to the Emirates Stadium.

Odegaard scored one goal and gave two assists in nine Premier League starts, and scored one goal in five Europa League starts during his loan spell at Arsenal from Madrid during the second half of last season. The attacker is a good and talented player who could flourish at Arsenal. Emile Smith Rowe is the only attacking midfielder in the Arsenal squad at the moment, and Arteta needs to bring in another player.
