Arsenal are considering reigniting their previous interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as they make plans for bolstering the attacking options at the disposal of manager Mikel Arteta, according to Tuttosport.
The Gunners tried to sign the Serbian striker from Fiorentina back in January 2022, but at the time, Vlahovic chose the Allianz Stadium over the Emirates as his preferred destination. They turned their attention elsewhere and signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City the following summer, but the Brazilian obviously hasn’t lived up to the expectations that accompanied his arrival to North London.
Vlahovic has so far scored 17 goals and produced three assists in 33 matches across all competitions this season, with Juventus falling short of their intentions to win the Scudetto but currently on course to secure Champions League qualification. The 24-year-old has two years remaining on his contract with the Old Lady, and it remains to be seen if he’ll be interested in swapping the Serie A for the Premier League this summer, as well as if the two clubs can reach an agreement if he is.
