According to a recent report from AS, Arsenal could be willing to sanction the sale of forward Alexandre Lacazette during the summer transfer window.
The belief is that Arsenal have made it crystal clear that they want to fight as hard as they possibly can to keep hold of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. When it comes to Lacazette, however, it doesn’t appear as if the same kind of drive is there.
Mikel Arteta does not consider Lacazette to be a key member of the first team squad right now, even though he’s managed to score nine goals in all competitions so far this season. His current deal has two years left to run at the Emirates, with Atletico Madrid being one of the teams that is keeping tabs on him.
With Lacazette being open to the move and Arteta wanting to do something to really put his stamp on this team, there’s a good chance he could end up leaving.
