Arsenal are set to sign striker Marouane Chamakh from French side Bordeaux, according to the Sunday Mail.
Chamakh, who is out of contract this summer, is close to agreeing a four-year deal with the Gunners.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is holding talks with the Moroccan over a move, but the club are not expected to announce the move until the end of the season.
“I’ve dreamed of the Premier League since I was a little boy. I am ready to discover the experience for myself,” Chamakh said last week.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to sign at least one centre-half in the summer as well.
