Arsenal told to increase Aaron Ramsdale offer

Arsenal have had two offers for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale turned down , according to The Times. The Gunners’ bids had been in instalments. The Blades, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, have told Arsenal to pay more than £32 million for the 23-year-old goalkeeper.

Ramsdale joined United from Bournemouth last summer. The English goalkeeper played in 38 Premier League games for the Blades last season. Ramdale was part of the England squad for Euro 2020, although the youngster got his chance after Manchester United custodian Dean Henderson got injured.

Arsenal are looking for a new goalkeeper, as the North London club believe that Bernd Leno could leave this summer. The Germany international goalkeeper is out of contract at the North London club in two years’ time.
