According to a recent report from L’Equipe, North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a bid for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The youngster has been turning heads for a few months now, and at the weekend, he was about to set up the winner for his side’s shock win over Paris Saint-Germain. This isn’t the first time that Arsenal and Spurs have gone head to head over the potential signing of a player this summer, but with the window now being closed, they’ll have to wait until January to put forward any substantial bids.
Of course, they aren’t alone in their desire to sign him, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund all sniffing around his services.
Either way it seems as if he’s going to be heading to one of the premier leagues in world football, which can only mean great things for his continued development.
