Arsenal want £50m for Fabregas

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has put a £50million price tag on midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Gunners rejected a bid from Barcelona last week for the 23-year-old, but the Spanish giants are expected to make an improved bid.

Arsenal have insisted that Fabregas is not for sale but Barcelona believes the Premier League club are ready to negotiate a price, after the Gunners named their price.

A Nou Camp source told The Sun: “This is the news the men in charge at Barca wanted.

“They now see the possibility of Arsenal cracking and are determined to get their man.

“They hope they can get an agreement at around the £35m mark.”
