Arsenal are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo in the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal wanted to sign Arthur in the January transfer window, but they could not. However, the Gunners are planning to make a bid for the Brazil international again this summer.

Arthur has made nine starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A for Juventus so far this season. The 25-year-old Brazil international made two starts and four substitute appearances in the Champions League so far this campaign.

Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 54 points from 28 matches, while Juventus currently find themselves fourth in the Serie A table with 59 points from 30 matches.
