Arsenal want Lille striker Jonathan David

Arsenal are interested in signing Jonathan David from Lille in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that the Gunners are looking to add a new striker to their squad for next season and beyond, and David is their main target.

David is one of the best young strikers in Europe and has been superb for Lille for a while. The 22-year-old Canada international has made 22 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season, scoring 12 goals in the process. The youngster has scored three goals in seven Champions League matches for Lille so far this campaign.

Arsenal are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 24 matches, while Lille are currently eighth in Ligue 1 with 39 points from 26 games.
