According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Arsenal are competing with West Ham and Crystal Palace in the race to sign Aaron Ramsey from Juventus.
The appeal of Ramsey heading back to the Emirates is something that you’d imagine would swing the pendulum in his favour but at this stage in proceedings, it’s pretty hard to know what the man himself wants to do.
The Gunners recently missed out on the Buendia signing to Aston Villa which, in itself, perhaps showcases how far the club has fallen in terms of their stock in English football.
They’re still a club with some name value but if they continue down this path and have another poor campaign, they could slip into a really deep abyss.
Aaron Ramsey isn’t the man who will save Arsenal Football Club but his presence around the Emirates would definitely lift some spirits after a bad few years.
