Arsenal want Real Sociedad youngster Alexander Isak

Arsenal are interested in signing Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. It has been reported that the Gunners are reportedly monitoring the Sweden international striker, who is rated highly by the North London club’s technical director Edu.

Isak has been on the books of Sociedad since 2019 when he joined from Borussia Dortmund. The Sweden international made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for La Real this past season, scoring 17 goals and providing two assists in the process. The 21-year-old striker also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for the Spanish club.

The Swede is a very talented and promising young player who could be a success at Arsenal. It remains to be seen if Sociedad are willing to sell the striker, and how much they would ask if indeed they are open to cashing in on him.
