Arsenal want to sign Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran

Arsenal are interested in signing Jhon Duran from Premier League rivals Aston Villa, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Arsenal are closely following Duran, who is valued at €80 million by Villa.

Duran has been on the books of Villa since 2023 when he joined from the Chicago Fire. The Colombia international striker is part of the Villa first team at the moment, but he is not guaranteed a place in manager Unai Emery’s starting lineup. The 20-year-old striker has scored four goals in seven substitute appearances in the Premier League and has scored one goal in two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the Villans so far this campaign.

Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from seven matches, a point behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Villa currently find themselves fifth in the standings with 14 points from seven games, level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.
