Arsenal want to sign Emiliano Buendia from Aston Villa

Arsenal are interested in signing Emiliano Buendia from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Arsenal wanted to sign Buendia from Norwich City in the summer of 2021 and could reignite their interest in the winger now.

The Gunners are reportedly looking to sign Buendia as a back-up to England international Bukayo Saka at right wing. Arsenal have a number of attacking players, including on the right wing. Reiss Nelson and Marquinhos are right wingers, and so is Nicolas Pepe.

Buendia has made 109 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The winger has scored 10 goals and given 15 assists in those games. The 26-year-old made 27 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Villans last season. The winger scored five goals and provided two assists in those games.
