Premier League outfit Arsenal are keeping close tabs on FC Porto midfielder Daniel Pereira, according to A Bola.
The Gunners clearly took notice of the footballer’s meteoric rise in the last year that saw him establish himself as an important player for both club and country.
Arsenal appear to have plans to lure Danilo Pereira to the Emirates at the end of the season, and they have now sent Luis Boa Morte to watch the 24-year-old in action in weekend’s game between FC Porto and Tondela.
Despite signing Mohamed Elneny in January, the Gunners are still in the market for midfield reinforcements, and it looks as though they may be shopping in Portugal.
Besides Danilo Pereira, Arsenal are also looking at Sporting Lisbon hotshot William Carvalho, who is Pereira’s direct rival for a starting berth in the Portugal national team ahead of the Euro 2016 finals in France.
