Arsenal & West Ham want Andersen

According to a recent report from Sunday Mirror, Arsenal and West Ham United are both interested in making a move to sign Joachim Andersen.

Andersen, 24, is currently on loan with Fulham from French side Lyon. The belief is that he won’t stay with the Cottagers as they seemingly look destined to return to the Championship at the first time of asking.

Alas, while some want to see him head back to Lyon and prove himself in Ligue 1 again, others think he could still make some noise in the Premier League.

Arsenal and West Ham have both had very different seasons but in a weird way, they also have a lot left to fight for – and we don’t think there’s a lot between them in a competitive sense right now.

The Gunners are fighting to win the Europa League, whereas West Ham may end up qualifying for the Champions League through the top four.
