Arsenal will not sell Eddie Nketiah in Janaury

Arsenal will not sell Eddie Nketiah in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not want Nketiah to leave even though there is interest in the striker.

Brentford and Crystal Palace are interested in Nketiah, but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made a decision not to sell him. The striker is not guaranteed a place in the Gunners’ starting lineup, but he has done well when he has been called into action. The 24-year-old has scored five goals and given one assist in nine Premier League starts for the North London club this campaign.

Nketiah has also given one assist in two Carabao Cup matches and has scored one goal in four UEFA Champions League games for Arsenal this campaign. Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 40 points from 18 matches, a point clear of second-placed Liverpool.
