Arsenal willing to offload Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal are willing to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer transfer window, according to The Times. The report has added that the Gunners also want to cash in on France international striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

Aubameyang had a disappointing season in 2020-21 after signing a new contract. The 32-year-old former Borussia Dortmund star scored 10 goals and gave three assists in the league last season. The striker has struggled for form in pre-season for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Aubameyang is a proven goalscorer and has been superb for Arsenal over the years. The Gabon international has scored 64 goals 114 Premier League appearances for the North London club. However, the striker struggled last season, and given that he is 32 now, there will be doubts whether he is on the decline. Arsenal are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
