Arsenal are willing to pay £55 million for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Arsenal are keen on securing the services of Havertz in the summer transfer window and are ready to pay £55 million for him, but Chelsea want £70 million for the Germany international.
Real Madrid are also keen on the 24-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward. Los Blancos are on the hunt for a new striker following the departure of Karim Benzema this summer. Madrid have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe as well.
Havertz made 30 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea this past season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the process. The Chelsea no. 29 also made seven starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this past campaign, scoring two goals in the process.
