Arsenal won the race for Lyon’s Ben Arfa

Reportedly, Arsenal will complete their first signing for next season by signing 21-year old winger Hatem Ben Arfa from Lyon.

Aresene Wenger should be very pleased with his first signing, as they beat off competition from clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United. Earlier, Wenger was quoted saying, “He is a great player and Arsenal is a potential destination for any great player.”

Ben Arfa is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe after impressing for Lyon in the last few seasons.

The 21-year old, who debuted in the French national team last year, will cost Arsenal £16million.

AW, let Adebayor go and replace him with strikers of better quality and consistency. Villa would be great – however, given his rise up the “most wanted” ranks after his Euro exploits not sure that AW with his penny pinching and youth oriented mindset would bite. Or strengthen the midfield into an attacking one like MAnu who got more goals from midfielders than out and out strikers

I really want Wenger to go for more players this season, players from premiership clubs and the rest of the world who’ve the potential to wear arsenal colour players like Martins,Odenwigie, villa, benarfa, benzema, nasri, aquilani ETC.With this players and more then Gunners are in for tripple win or more i.e.Premiership,FA Cup,Carling Cup and Champions league plus World club cup.I will not like the idea of Wenger been stingin to buy more players this season players to deliver if we need to offload some then let it be.Gunners For Life!!!!!

its a good thing that prof. AW did because if he didnt do that arsenal will not go far next season. Buying ben arfa and now setting his eyes on saha will bring big achievements to the club and the likes of adebayor who can waste alot of scoring chances. oga professor please buy correct payers

Reportedly? According to what reports? This may be true but it looks like the site is trying guessing he’ll sign and hoping for the best to me.
