Arsenal sold Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa this summer and signed Runar Alex Runarsson as the backup for number one goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

It certainly seemed like a poor piece of business on Tuesday evening as the Gunners slumped to a 1-4 defeat at the Emirates at the hands of Carabao Cup defenders Manchester City.
