Arsene Wenger set for 2019 return

In an interview with Bild, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is ready to return to work in football on January 1st, 2019. The 68 year old has been out of the game ever since he left the Gunners, with there being much speculation over what he’ll do next. Wenger himself hinted that he could go over to Japan, although there are a handful of options out there for the Frenchman.

Some don’t even think that he’ll return to management, and instead, they believe that he’ll choose to move into some kind of director role. Whatever the case may be it’ll certainly be a welcome sight to see him return to football, if only to rectify his reputation which was severely damaged courtesy of his last few years at the Emirates.

Wenger has been doing punditry work and generally resting up as he prepares for the next chapter of his career.
