According to a recent report from Sport Bild, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned down the possibility of managing Paris Saint-Germain. The club reportedly approached the Frenchman in order to discuss the deal, but Wenger wasn’t willing to work alongside Antero Henrique who is the club’s sporting director.
Wenger has been out of a job since the end of last season, but much like Antonio Conte, hasn’t shown much urgency in wanting to dive right back into the management game. Arsene has been doing some good work as a pundit in recent months, with many fans commenting that they feel he is already one of the best in the business.
Wenger’s time at Arsenal was mostly positive due to all of the early successes he had with the club, but his last few years certainly wound up tarnishing his reputation.
Either way, it’d be great to see him back in the game at a high level next season.
