Spartak Moscow star Artem Dzyuba is reportedly ready to extend his deal at Otkrytie Arena, according to Izvestia.
One of Russia’s in-form strikers has been mentioned as a target for arch rivals Lokomotiv Moscow and few more top sides, but it appears he will be staying with his current employers after all.
Dzyuba will soon be able to negotiate a Bosman deal with interested sides considering that his current contract is due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
And even though Spartak are not prepared to match his €3m per year demands, it is believed the striker is willing to reach an agreement with club chiefs.
Despite becoming one of team’s key players, Dzuba currently earns €1.3 million per campaign, which is much less than some of the other teammates.
The 26-year-old was even booed by Spartak fans as he scored his seventh goal in eleven league appearances this season, having netted the final goal in a 4-2 win over Mordovia.
